KELLY SLATER TESTING SURFBOARDS

In the lead up to the season-opening Quiksilver Pro, Kelly Slater honed his skills at the famed Californian pointbreak of Rincon. He tested out a variety of boards on the long, peeling rights, getting acquainted with how each would react in the Snapper-esque conditions. Turned out to be great preparation, with Slater becoming the first person in history to clinch three Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast titles.
