PADDLE POP

There I was checking out some old school footage of some Cali riders back in the late 80's when I spotted these paddle pop boards. A section of the film where a steezy crew were riding fat spilling waves with awesome style but weren't on a log or a fish? As I looked closer I saw this knee board styled board that had a cut off square tail and looked just like a paddle pop icecream. Intrigued I went on the hunt asking around about these 'SLEDS' and where I could get a good one.

I ended up being directed to the crew at RAKE and found the 'Rake Sled' and as you can see it's a plain shape but looks sick fun and a board that would slot very nicely into the quiver. One of those boards you take with you on those solitary drives out of the city and look for a nice secluded break and draw long arching lines arms neatly hanging behind you. You know the drill...

So if you're looking for a freakin' fun steezy board then may I suggest the Rake 'paddle pop' Sled. It could be your little slice of heaven. Now just so you know we haven't been on one yet, but it's only a matter of time!
