A brand we've all come to know and love - Nixon - aren't showing any signs of slowing down in the world of functional and hip time piece design which is awesome. Well this season they've brought together two of their favourite watches to create a new and very cool looking action sports piece - The Outsider Tide. The Outsider Tide combines the functionality of the Lodown tide watch with the look and feel of The Outsider.

As you know the Lodown has been a favourite of many surfers for years and while it's an awesome watch, it's great to see a new look in the realm of tide watches from Nixon.

As you can see from the shots, The Outsider Tide has a sleek round face and offers a more conservative look to its older bro the Lodown. A great watch option for those who are looking for something that goes with just about any get-up. We haven't reviewed The Outsider Tide, however we've reviewed The Outsider and that's a solid offering that's comfy, functional and looks dope.

The Outsider Tide comes with all the functionality you come to expect from a Nixon tide watch: Custom digital with pre-programmed tide information for 200 beaches for the next 15 years, future tide, dual time, alarm, countdown timer, wave counter, chrono and light.

FCS SOFTBOARD FIN SYSTEM [15.Dec.2009]

FCS have hit the softboard market, designing specific fin boxes to allow all FCS compatible surfboard fins to be used. This is an awesome offering, because now it allows foamies or softboards to be pushed a little bit harder. Yeah boyz!
