"Thomas Campbell pride"

Thomas Campbell is a creative Californian surfer who's roots lie in art, photography and film making. Campbell is the man behind some of the awesome 'alternative' surf films such as The Seedling, Sprout and more recently The Present.  These are more of a 'work of art' than an actual film and entail some amazing cinematography, locations and surfing that take you into the heart of the world of true 'surfing'.


Being a big fan of Campbell's work, when I came across a line of tee's that showcase some art inspired by his films I was stoked and thought mesurf readers should know about it. As I've touched on in previous releases, in the apparel game it's easy to get lost in a world of large prints, ugly clutter and everything looking the same. A few brands are making their mark by utilising artwork and unique designs from various collaborations and keeping them clean, basic and releasing some ill threads.

What I really like about this line of tee's is their natural look, cool little designs and patterns that have a very 70's retro surf look. With inspirations being taken from all of Campbell's work the designs are a little nutty but simple and look pretty damn cool.


So when you're looking to step out from the rat pack of fluoro tee's with huge screen prints and mad logo's then a groovy Campbell will do the trick. Sport a beard, throw on a cardi with a fob watch, tight black jeans, a pair of old sneaks/sandals and you'll be pimpin'. It's all about the vibe man...the vibe!
