DAVE RASTA'S 'SURFERS FOR CETACEANS' COLLECTION [19.07.2009] Category: Surf clothing

DAVE RASTA'S 'SURFERS FOR CETACEANS' COLLECTION "Doin' it for the Sea"

Rasta is pretty much a cetacean living on land. The kid does more for the ocean than any other environmentalist that I know or read about, and the fact is he's real and he surfs. In a new sleek marketing movement Rasta (along with Billabong) have teamed up with the charity organisation Surfers for Cetaceans to produce a limited edition range of organic tees and eco supreme suede boardies.

The range features some nice photographic style prints capturing Rasta's love for the ocean and it's inhabitants.

“As a travelling free surfer I am part of an aspect of the surfing world that embraces a holistic attitude and maintains an intimate relationship with our environment.

My journey through a multitude of cultures and seascapes, experiencing waves with dolphins and whales has lead me to an awareness on the interconnected nature of life, and the delicate systems that allow this network of life to exist.”- Dave Rasta

The gear looks great and having a limited release makes it that much more wanted. We like what Rasta stands for and think you should all go and buy a piece to support the cause.

Surfers for Cetaceans is committed to activating ocean-minded people everywhere to support the conservation and protection of whales, dolphins and marine life. It's through compassion, awareness, education, media and dedicated interventions that we will accomplish this goal. We seek to be a human voice for and defender of cetaceans worldwide.
