APPAREL | Globe has sent through an extensive peek of its upcoming 2011 range via an online lookbook, which features the likes of Dion Agius spruiking everything from sailor caps, to skateboards. The vast collection seeks to position itself on the grittier side of things, with models pictured urinating on a tree, crouching next a storm-water drain, climbing over dusty palettes and tinkering with greasy tricycles.

It’s all fairly cool stuff – no massive logos in your face or anything. You won’t find anything groundbreaking in terms of cuts or design but there’s a semi-freshness and definite wearability about it.

The cruiser-skateboards look fun – I like the way the swallow-tailed ‘Chromantic’ deck comes with a surfboard-style tail-pad. Gone are the days of attaching an old one yourself in an effort to look like ‘Johnny Cowabunga.'

  For a first round effort Nick has done an amazing job on the editing front and put together over 45min of surfing! That's some pretty good bang for your buck when purchasing the film. I liked the way Nick didn't just focus on the top 5-10 surfers and gave some air time to young guys like Chippa Wilson, Dale Richards and a few other up and comers.
