If you'd told me five years ago you'll be playing surf games on your phone I would've pictured something like California Games but worse. Over the past 12 months we've seen a rebirth of the surfing game market hit the iPhone scene. I'm still unsure why these games aren't made with larger gaming consoles in mind.

Only a few days ago we posted about Rip Curl's upcoming iPhone game release discussing that there had been murmers around the place that Billabong were also in the race. Back in March 2010 we reported on Billabong in the works for an iPhone/iPad game release titled Surf Trip (read here). Today those whispers were confirmed to be true.
