It’s been 139 days since Dane Reynolds limped to the Semi Finals of last years Pipeline Masters, the last time he was seen in an ASP jersey. Not that anyone’s counting. Tomorrow, following his drawn out injury hiatus, the most progressive surfer on the planet makes his highly anticipated return to competition for the ASP PRIME Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro.
From July 14th – 24th July 2011, Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa will play host to the ASP’s top 34 surfers as the World Championship battle kicks back into action. With a superstar line-up including ten-time world champion Kelly Slater and defending J-Bay champion Jordy Smith amongst a band of elite athletes, there’s little doubt that the Supertubes break will provide an amazing contest.
