PROGRESSIVE EXPRESSION: COMP-SURFING OF NOW
FEATURE | The 2010 Hurley Pro Trestles showcased competitive surfing at its high-performance best. The wave itself is extremely user-friendly but even so, the moves on display were far more reminiscent of those seen in an Expression Session than the sort expected in serious ASP competition. HURLEY PRO | The predicted swell was a bit of a no-show as action resumed overnight at the Hurley Pro Trestles. There were just enough waves on offer to see through the duration of Round 2 before competition again went on standby whilst organisers await a surge in swell. Manoeuvre of the day? LOWER TRESTLES, California/USA - When competitors woke to perfect 4-6 foot conditions for rounds 3 and 4 of the Hurley Pro, it was clear event coordinator Pat O’Connell had made the right call when he prematurely halted proceedings the previous day. The jump in swell-size paralleled a significant rise in the standard and performance-level of surfing on display.

EXPRESSION SESSION | GUDAUSKAS VS REYNOLDS
HURLEY PRO – Round 2 heats of The Hurley Pro Trestles went on hold briefly to make way for the event’s Expression Session. This experience allows some of ASP’s best showman to forget about competition results momentarily while they inconsequentially cut-loose for the crowd’s enjoyment. FRIDAY FOX TRIBUTE TO CALI...
FRIDAY FOX | California, USA; a land of sun, surf and the latest stop of the ASP tour, The Hurley Pro Trestles.
