DAVEYS WAVEY GRAVY | NOVEMBER 9-15 Daveys Wavey Gravy | November 9-15
A weekly update from Hawaii's North Shore by Sean Davy

It's sounding like a bit of a broken record already, but when is this bad weather gonna piss off already? The last 2 nights have had full on thunder storms. We've had the most beautiful early season here with Sept and Oct sunny and pumping most days, then about 3 weeks ago, winter came over night, just like that. Most days have had unstable rain storms with less than ideal waves too, until a day or 2 ago when the winds switched and suddenly Kammies had insane lefts and there was an awesome point break running from Pupukea all the way down past Off The Wall. It looks like there's gonna be some insane beachies at Rockpile if the swell patterns continue like this (north-east).

Apparently there are a lot of crew here now. Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough. ha ha.  Hmmmm, but I have seen Dingo, Andy, Cory Lopez, Heath Joske Roy Powers to name a few.   Sunny Garcia too, and Luke Egan yesterday on his backhand, looking like a WCTer.    Finally, Buttons launched his new coffer blend :  Button's Blend this morning at Ted's Bakery. Quite a few people were on hand including a sizable media contingent.  Buttons is the original Mr Aloha with a heart of gold. Here's hoping that his blend catches on.

Until next week... Aloha
